Welcome
to the official The Fivepenny Piece website!
This
site was originally set up by The Fivepenny
Piece fan Paul
Gunningham in 2001. He searched all over
the world wide web, but was unable to find a
site devoted to the band he loved. As he wrote
at the time, "I could hardly believe that
this wonderful band didn't have a single website
dedicated to them, so I thought - if tha' want
summat done, do it thissen!" The result
was the 5pp.co.uk website.
Sadly
in the spring of 2007 Paul died following a
road traffic accident - but his work has not
been forgotten. The website has now become the
official band website, and is managed by John
Meek's wife Margaret with the technical and
design side maintained by Frank Blades of Somersetmade
Ltd.
Eddie
Crotty Passed Away It

the death of Eddie Crotty - founder member and
