The best Bristol cider festival to date! Friday and Saturday evenings both sold out in advance, and we had twice the numbers through the doors during the afternoon session than last time. And more ciders too - over 100 on offer! - and great music from The Mangledwurzels at all sessions.

Friday 24th July 2009 - Bath Cricket Club Cider Festival (2nd Bath Summer Cider Festival) at Bath Cricket Club, North Parade, Bridge Road, Bath BA2 4EX.
A gorgeous evening set the scene for a wonderful cider festival in outfield of Bath Crick Club, in the shadow of Bath Abbey. Another sell-out - there were only 7 tickets left to sell when the doors opened, and they went very fast indeed! A great night with cider drinkers spilling out across the cricket field in the balmy summer evening.

Bank Holiday Monday 4th May 2009 - CiderFestivals.co.uk Cider Bar at Beltaine Blast at Taunton Racecourse, Taunton.
Not a true cider festival, but CiderFestivals.co.uk ran the Cider Bar at this May Day event at Taunton Racecourse to help folks enjoy this old English celebration of the ancient festival of Beltaine.

Sorry about the bad weather! But on the other hand, the high winds did destroy the Moulon Rouge tent, which meant that Oh La La, the Can Can Dancers had to perform in the Cider Festival marquee. Shame!

Over 2500 cider drinkers through the doors, selling out again on both evenings with over 500 people turned away on the doors (sorry folks!).
