The Cam Valley Wildlife Group's area is centred on the towns of Midsomer Norton and Radstock, which are about 20km south of Bristol. To the south and west are the Mendip Hills, to the north west is the Chew Valley, and to the north-east the City of Bath and the Cotswold Hills.

Our area covers the valleys of the Rivers Cam and Wellow and their tributaries. It stretches 20km from Chewton Mendip in the west to Norton St Philip in the east, and 13km from Holcombe in the south to Midford in the north.
