Group
Projects
The
group's projects together comprise the most active part of
the group. The projects are the way in which we carry out
much of our conservation work, and many of our events are
organised by our projects team too. The group's projects can
be split into species conservation and
recording projects and site management
projects.
If
you would like to find out more or get involved with any of
our projects please let us know by emailing CVWG@btinternet.com.

Species
Conservation
& Recording Projects
These
projects aim to build up a detailed picture of the wildlife
of our area and to ensure that those species in need of special
conservation attention are helped by these projects.
Species-specific
projects include:

Site
Management
The
group manages several sites locally. These include Goosard
Reserve, Paulton
Nature Reserve and Stephen's
Vale. In addition we work with a number of landowners
to help conserve the wildlife and habitat on their land. These
include Ammerdown Estate, Greyfield
Wood, Chewton Wood, Church
Farm, and Silver Street Local Nature Reserve.
