A
proper West Country wedding
with The Mangledwurzels
 When
The Mangledwurzels first formed, we envisaged that we would
be playing pubs and clubs, maybe an agricultural show or
two - and perhaps some music festivals. It didn't occur
to us that we would be booked for weddings. How wrong we
were!
Our
first appearance at a wedding reception was at Batcombe,
in deepest darkest Somerset where The Mangledwurzels serenaded
the wedding party under a large conker tree. As you can
see from the picture (right), the bride was most amused! Many
enquiries, bookings and wonderful evenings have followed
over the years. It looks like The Mangledwurzels - although
not initially by design - have become a Scrumpy & Western
wedding band!

get booked up rather quickly, so it really is advisable
to book early to avoid disappointment - unless you are willing
to change your wedding plans just to have The Mangledwurzels
there!
