Tucked away in a peaceful and picturesque valley, Burscombe Farm is a family-run beef and sheep farm is situated just 3 miles from the pretty seaside town of Sidmouth. Traditional cider is made and sold on the farm.

Directions

From the East (Lyme Regis): Take the (A3052) into Sidford. Go straight across the four way traffic lights. Then take the third road on your right called Burscombe Lane (here there is a brick pillar letterbox on a triangle of grass). Keep on this road for 1 mile turning right at both sharp bends and you will arrive at the farm.

From Honiton: From Honiton take the A375 towards Sidmouth, keep on this road until you get to Sidbury. Pass the church on your left and keep going a little further until you see a war memorial on your right. Take the road beside it called Greenhead Lane. Keep going for 1 mile and follow the sign to Burscombe Farm.

From the M5 at Exeter: Exit the motorway at junction 30 and take the A3052 towards Sidmouth. Go through Newton Poppleford and past the the Bowd Inn, (which is on your left). When you see a 30mph speed limit sign take the second road left into Burscombe Lane (here there is a brick pillar letterbox on a triangle of grass). Keep on this road for 1 mile turning right at both sharp bends, and you will arrive at the farm.

The cider smells delightfully fruity but when bought in Autumn 2001 tasted rather of acetic acid, although well worth trying and full of character. [crofter.com]
