Description

The Dyken Cider Co. is a smallscale cider producer who were apparently set up with funding from a grant from an apple and pear research group called CAPRA (no information on who these guys are). They produce is dry cider called Dyken Pure Crab who is made entirely from locally-grown crab apples.

Directions

Directions by road: Leave at Junction 36. Take the A590. Pass through Newby Bridge. Five miles later, at Greenodd, turn right onto the A5092 and follow signs for Broughton and Whitehaven (at Grizebeck the road joins the A595). The Dyken Cider Co. is located a few hundred yards down the road from the Prince of Wales pub.
