| Description |
Long-established
cidermaker, Gray's has been producing
their smooth, sweet-medium cider for
more than 300 years over 15 generations.
Only local and home produced apples
are used. Cider is dispensed straight
from the oak barrels in the large barn
behind the farmhouse. Available sweet
or dry, or can be mixed in proportion
to your taste. The Grays are very friendly
folk, and the cider is reasonably priced. |

Directions
by road: Turn off the A30 at
Tedburn St Mary and take the narrow
road southwards towards Dunsford (warning:
single track road - drive carefully
and be prepared to negotiate if you
meet a vehicle coming the other way).
The driveway to Halstow Farm is on the
right - there is a small "Cider"
sign in the gateway but it's not very
prominent and easy to miss if you drive
too fast! Drive a couple of hundred
yards down the drive to reach the farm. |
