Mahorall Farm Cider

Description

Mahorall is a small family farm situated in the beautiful rolling hills of South Shropshire. Located seven miles east of the picturesque town of Ludlow, the farm has been owned and run by the King-Turner family for nearly 40 years. In 2000 the King-Turner family moved from traditional mixed farming to making a small amount of traditional cider for sale.

They now make over 30,000 litres of cider a year using apples from the farm and the surrounding area using only 100% fresh apple juice and wild natural yeast to achieve a taste as cider should be. By making their cider using different apple varieties and not using any added chemicals, flavourings or sulphites enables them to have a range of naturally tasting quality cider.

Ciders

Using only local apples and making their cider using natural methods makes Mahorall Farm Cider a true taste of Shropshire. Mahorall Farm Cider is available at the farm shop, local retailers and restaurants, and at the various food fayres they attend - as listed on the company's website.

Mahorall Farm Cider is available in two different ranges:

  • Draught Cider - A still cider available in dry or medium with an average ABV of 6.5%.
  • Crown Cap Range - A carbonated cider sold in glass 50cl bottles - available in dry or medium sweet. These have a longer shelf life than the draught ciders.
