The Orchard Pig Cider

Description

Andrew Quinlan and Neil Macdonald are friends who share a passion (and addiction) for great food and rare breed pigs. They developed this interest by keeping Old Spots (Orchard Pigs) in their traditional cider apple orchard in Somerset.

However, even the pigs could not eat all the apples they were producing, so it was a natural development to make cider and apple juice. Since then, they haven't looked back and their hazy experimental days have really paid off! They loved it, their friends and neighbours loved it, so they made more... and more. Now based at nearby West Bradley Orchards, they have Orchard Pig fans in Somerset, Dorset, Kent, Devon, Wales, Gloucestershire, Shropshire and Scotland to mention a few.

Ciders

The Orchard Pig Cider produce wonderful, lightly sparkling ciders. These premium ciders are made from a mix of over 10 varieties of hand-graded apples, harvested from unsprayed and naturally maintained orchards. Crushed, pressed and fermented, the ciders are matured for at least six months to produce the depth of flavour that is proving so popular.
