Shawsgate Cider

Description

Established in 1973, the 15 acre vineyard boasts five varieties of white grape and a frost-resistant red. As well as their award-winning wines, Shawsgate also produce an Apple dessert wine and cider from Cox’s and Bramleys grown locally. Visitors are invited to taste a selection of wines and cider.

Facilities
  • The Vineyard Shop & Cafe - open 7 days a week, 10.30am - 5.00pm in Summer. Check website or phone premises for winter opening times.
  • The Vineyard Trail - visitors are welcome to do a DIY tour of the vineyard at their own leisure. There is no charge to do this and staff will provide you with an information sheet and vineyard map so you don’t get lost!
