of the newest cider companies on the scene
- The Somerby Cider Company are based at the
Stilton Cheese Inn in Somerby. They have acquired
a restored French single screw press and antique
scratter mill, and planted an apple orchard
of mixed eaters, cookers and cider varieties
at nearby Borrough Hill. They plan their first
pressing in the autum of 2008, and will be
selling the cider locally. |
