West Croft Cider

Description

West Croft Cider is a traditional cider farm, located at the foot of Brent Knoll and within reach of Burnham-on-Sea and Brean. West Croft Cider was established by John Harris in 1992, but cider making dates back at least two generations, his grandfather being a cider maker of local renowned using apples from the same orchards.

West Croft Cider use traditional English cider apples from their own orchards and those brought in from local farms. The apples are pressed and the juices blended, which is then fermented in oak casks. These methods are the same as used by cider makers over many centuries.
