The Cornish Wurzells
"A Cornish tribute to Adge Cutler"

Who Are The Cornish Wurzells?

A Penzance-based tribute to Adge Cutler formed in 2006 and fronted by Rus Holland (banjo and vocals). The Cornish Wurzells played at the Royal Cornwall Show in April 2007 where they were interviewed on BBC Radio Cornwall along with "their cuddly pig"! That in itself warrants a page on this website! Since then they have supported Jethro at the Hall for Cornwall, played at the Falmouth Oyster Festival and played at Jethro's Club in Lewdown on the Cornwall/Devon border.

Rus is an old friend of founding Wurzel Reg Quantrill, and used to live in Bath where he went to watch The Wurzels whenever they were gigging. He started a band 30 years ago called The Swinging Udders - which sadly didn't last long.
