Jethrobiography | discography | gigs | gallery | links Who Is Jethro?Jethro, christened Jeff Rowe, is Cornish born and bred. A larger than life figure - he played prop for Penzance and Newlyn rugby club! - he made his name as a stand-up comedian, bringing Cornwall to the masses. He is as well-loved in his native Cornwall as Adge Cutler is in Somerset, and runs his own club (Jetho's Club) on the Cornish-Devon border. Jethro has made various TV appearances on the likes of the Des O'Connor Show and Jim Davidson’s Generation Game show. He has hosted two shows of his own, The Jethro Junction, on HTV and in December 2001 appeared in front of the Queen for the Royal Variety Show. In March 1995, Jethro walked the 100 miles or so from Land's End to Lewdown to raise money for the Bristol Cancer Open Scanner Appeal. He gave a show each night at a local venue and in total managed to raise £20,000.
